Projects

This page is to highlight projects that I am most proud of. They start with my strongest projects from my educational journey, but are also followed by some big projects from my personal life as well.

I completed my technical capstone project in 2021. I worked with an amazing team of mechanical, electrical, and computer engineering students for eight months for a very ambitious project (with a large amount of support from faculty at McMaster). Our goal was to develop a system for taking a stripped-down Chevrolet Camaro and applying a switched-reluctance motor (SRM) to the vehicle, which would be the first time that type of high-performance electric motor would ever be applied to a car. Given the restrictions on access to facilities due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we were unable to manufacture our components, but we had a fully realized design to present at the end of the semester, and ended up winning an award at our Capstone Expo. It was an amazing learning experience, where I got to work on a much more complicated design with software I had never seen before, and I felt a great sense of accomplishment coming out of completing the project.

Unfortunately, due to the sensitivity of the documentation of the project based on who we were working with, I am unable to show imagery of what we designed.
